A partnership: Community Links and Volunteer It Yourself

We teamed up with Community Links and Volunteer It Yourself to bring a formerly disused building back into use as an affordable property guardianship home. The result was eight volunteers gaining crucial qualifications and skills, and a low-cost home for two property guardians who will contribute positively to their community in Canning Town.

The Thomas Crosbie PACE Foundation presents: Coldfire Festival

We caught up with a group of Dot Dot Dot guardians who are volunteering for Coldfire Festival with The Thomas Crosbie PACE Foundation. The festival is created as a celebration of young talent in sport and the arts, and promotes wellbeing, up and coming artists, and offers a safe space for young people to express their thoughts and feelings.

Bubble Club in action: Ska @ Pride Rock preparation

Now Bubble Club workshops in our Whitechapel property are in full swing, Dot Dot Dot team member, Charlotte, joined one of the weekly sessions to get stuck in helping them prepare for their upcoming event night.

Making the most of empty spaces – Bubble Club

We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with an amazing local community organisation, Bubble Club. They’ll be making the most of a largely under-used space in our Whitechapel property, to run weekly workshops where people with learning disabilities are supported to plan, organise and deliver the Bubble Club event nights.

The start of a new approach to placemaking in Newham, featuring our guardians

Dot Dot Dot are working in partnership with Newham Council, Civic and V22 to create meanwhile spaces across three vacant sites in Custom House, which are earmarked for future redevelopment.

Community Spirit in Whitechapel

We held the first networking event at our Whitechapel property, organised by our fantastic community host Ewa. Over 30 guardians turned up to mingle, share skills, enjoy brownies by local social enterprise Rise, and sip drinks made by the building’s resident cocktail pro.

Greenway Clean Up

Dot Dot Dot staff and guardians joined forces with Thames Water, Newham Council and local school children to clean up the Greenway – Newham’s green walking and cycling highway.
