Be part of the something special at Ham Close!
We’re inviting you to take part in a joyful, community-focused photography project celebrating life at Ham Close. Whether you’ve lived here for years or just moved in as a guardian, your smile, your story and your presence matter.

What’s Happening?
On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September from 10am to 4pm, we’ll be setting up a relaxed, fun-filled photography day at Ham Close. Whether you’re camera-shy or camera-confident, we’d love for you to join in.
On the day, there'll be
-
A photographer to snap warm, genuine portraits of you in a place that holds meaning
-
Chilled vibes and great chats with your neighbours
-
Free snacks and drinks under a gazebo (because refreshments are essential)

Who are Dot Dot Dot
We started Dot Dot Dot in response to the housing crisis. So many people find renting in cities wildly expensive, with limited options and no flexibility. We’re on a mission to bring empty buildings into use as inexpensive housing. Dot Dot Dot property guardians look after these places and also volunteer some time to good causes (we’re a social enterprise). The building owners are on board, and the local community appreciates having nice neighbours putting some time and energy into the area.

Guardians in Ham
Since December 2024, a group of Dot Dot Dot guardians have been calling Ham Close home. They’re here temporarily, looking after homes that would otherwise be empty while the estate goes through its exciting transformation.
They’ll move on once the time comes to rebuild, but for now, they’re living right here alongside you. So if you spot a new face, say hello! And this community photography day will be the perfect place to get to know your new neighbours a bit better.
