Dot Dot Dot has moved to The View Tube
We are really excited that, thanks to Poplar HARCA, Dot Dot Dot’s home is now at The View Tube, overlooking The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The View Tube was originally designed and built by Container City and Urban Space Management in 2009 to offer a place for the public to watch the Olympic Park take shape and learn about the future of the park and the heritage of the land it is built on.
Created from up-cycled shipping containers, The View Tube is a really unconventional space at the heart of an area set for a huge transformation over the next few years and we’re excited to be part of this changing landscape.
Nowadays, The View Tube is home to Moka East, a café offering delicious food and coffee; View Tube Bikes, who will rent you a bicycle to explore the Olympic Park or the Greenway; a wonderful community garden looked after by dedicated volunteers and stunning views of the Park which really come into their own when the sun sets.

Over the next ten years, along with the building of hundreds of new homes, this area is set to become a cultural hub with the opening of Olympicopolis, a new development which will be home to a Saddlers Wells theatre; a Victoria and Albert Museum; and new campuses for both University College London and University of the Arts London.
The plans for the development of the Olympic Park emphasise the preservation and use of green spaces, encouraging community interaction and regeneration, bringing together the Olympic Park and the surrounding communities and supporting small, creative businesses. This dovetails perfectly with our ethos here at Dot Dot Dot, and there is a lot scope for green projects and community activities at The View Tube. Keep your eyes peeled for events and volunteering opportunities!
We’re very close to Pudding Mill Lane DLR station, a short walk or even shorter cycle from Hackney Wick, Victoria Park and Stratford. Come and enjoy a coffee at the café, check out the view and the Greenway and come and say, ‘hi’ to the team at Dot Dot Dot.
