Guardian feedback – you said, we did

We know it can be time consuming filling out lots of surveys, but we want you to know at Dot Dot Dot, we really appreciate the time you take to fill out these surveys and that we do take your feedback on board.

We hold regular meetings every two months where we discuss our guardians’ feedback, and this month we also did a one-off survey. This was the first time we’ve taken a full snapshot of our guardians’ impressions of us all in one go, so this information will be used as a baseline for us to improve against.

Following on from our latest meeting reviewing our guardian feedback, we are putting some things into place:

  • We are looking into how we can best connect you with other guardians in your local area.
  • We are making improvements to ensure speedier responses to enquiries. We have moved the phones around in the office to ensure the right people are answering the right phones, and that these are accessible. However we can’t always answer your calls and emails straight away, but we will always get back to you as soon as possible.
  • We will be sending out a regular volunteering newsletter. We do share lots of volunteering opportunities on our twitter and Facebook accounts, and local volunteering roles can also be found on all our property pages. We also have some great resources for you to explore here.
  • We will keep you updated following our customer feedback meetings with what we are putting into place.

However, there are a few things we can’t change at Dot Dot Dot. When you sign up to be a guardian with Dot Dot Dot you sign an agreement to do 16 hours of volunteering a month. This is an integral part of our business and ensuring positive impact in the community is what sets our guardians apart from others. We are unable to reduce these hours, however, we do understand that our guardians lead very busy lives. One option you have if you’re struggling to get your volunteer hours done is litter picking and clearing up public spaces. As long as you send us before and after photos, we can count this towards your hours for the month.
