Help Dot Dot Dot find our new Head of Business Development!
At Dot Dot Dot we’re looking for a Head of Business Development – and if you know someone who would be great for the role, we’d love it if you could tell them about it.
We’re looking for someone who is going to help us to scale up what we’re doing. This means that the right person be confident at sales, marketing and communications. They will also have a proven ability to manage and deliver projects, and they will be entrepreneurial and able to contribute to our strategy for growth, helping us to adapt our model for new markets.
We’re very open-minded about the background the right person will have. They need to have a track record in the main areas of the role’s responsibility, but there are many different ways they could have gained this. They might have had a similar role in a small but growing business, or in a charity, housing association or social enterprise. Alternatively, they might have planned and delivered projects within larger organisations in the public or private sector, or have a background in consulting. They might not have huge experience of all the elements of the role, but they will be able to demonstrate their adaptability and willingness to learn, and to solve practical problems as they arise.
On the other hand, we’re very clear that the right person needs to be a great fit for our working culture. They will be multi-talented, and will find the constantly changing nature of working in a small but fast-growing social enterprise stimulating and exciting. They will share our belief in the value of voluntary work and the importance of strong communities, and they will appreciate the positive and mutually respectful relationships we seek to build with all of our stakeholders and clients and within the team.
We’re a small team, and this is a newly created post, so there is a lot of scope to shape the role around the right candidate.
If you know someone who’d be a great fit for us, please do pass on the full job description to them. They’re welcome to phone the office on 020 3005 2457 for an informal chat with Katharine Hibbert about the role, or to email recruitment@dotdotdotproperty.com with any questions they might have. Applications close on 3rd February.
