The Bromley by Bow Centre say ‘thank you’ to Lawrence and Jess!
From guardian Jasmine Morris:
On Sunday 6th October two brave Dot Dot Dot-ers lined up alongside 16,000 people ready to run 13.1 miles on behalf of the Bromley by Bow Centre.
Jess and Lawrence both signed up to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon following an appeal from the Bromley by Bow Centre who was looking for a team of enthusiastic fundraisers willing to take on a challenge.
Having accepted the challenge both worked hard on their training and fundraising raising over £1,200 for the Centre. The money raised through challenge events is vital to ensure that the Centre is able to continue to support local people to transform their lives through learning new skills, finding employment and improving their health and wellbeing.
As a fellow Guardian and an employee at the Bromley by Bow Centre I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to them both for their hard work, support and dedication and also THANK YOU to everyone who supported them to not only reach but far exceed their fundraising targets.
