The St Peter’s Film Club is a weekly, free, after school club in De Beauvoir, looking at the language of film. It runs from 3pm-6pm every Monday during term time with 7-13 year olds. The participants take part in all different aspects of film, from watching, writing reviews, making sets etc. They aim for the group to make a film by the end of this school year and are looking for volunteers to help with the weekly clubs. During school holidays it would be great if the 3 hours usually spent at film club could be used helping with things like: looking for professionals to come in and talk to the group, finding new activities, looking for suitable films to watch, recruiting new members etc. The film club is free, so that the financial situation of the children does not effect whether or not they can attend. This opportunity will be perfect for someone who has an interest in film. Please contact Oli on 020 7254 1668 for more details.
