4. Male Mentors needed with Friendship Works

When: Ongoing

Where: Camden and Islington

Friendship works currently has a list of boys aged 5-15 who would like a mentor they can work with.  Some of the boys would like to have a positive role model, some would like to do sporting activities and some have never had a male presence in their life.

Friendship Works need someone to step forward and make a positive change in the lives of these young teens.  Volunteers meet up with their mentees for a few hours, mostly at weekends, to build friendships with them.  They have positive volunteers who lead full lives and they have a lot of experience and interests to share with the child they mentor. Outings are simple and local, from visiting a museum or park, to going for a hot chocolate and a chat.

Apply through there website: http://www.friendshipworks.org.uk/volunteer/
