Volunteering at Dot Dot Dot towers – Offline Festival

In September, Omar from our Business Development team, volunteered to support Offline Festival, hosted at Hounslow Hall Estate in Buckinghamshire. Offline Festival brought together people and organisations passionate about cultivating social change and positive impact within their community, for three days of hands-on-learning, business-skill building and insightful discussions.

It was a great weekend full of discussion, debate, learning, support and solidarity with a group of inspiring people impacting communities right across the country. There was a mix of big-picture-thinking and strategizing with much more practical, take-away business support and advice, from which legal business model will maximise your social impact to how to recruit talent to how to spread your message.

Alongside the learning opportunities were children’s activities, music, artists, yoga and pilates, a ceilidh, great food and even a scratch choir. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend full of hope, spirit and life.

There should be future Offline Festivals so do keep an eye out!
