#VolunteeringStories competition

We’ve got a recently decorated and furnished flat in Queen’s Park, north-west London on offer in our #VolunteeringStories competition!

What you’ll win

The furnishings at a recently decorated studio flat in the Queen’s Park/Kilburn area and the opportunity to become a property guardian with us.

Our team has been hard at work preparing the flat, which comes complete with a bed, bedding, bedside tables, sofa, armchair, kitchen table, fridge, microwave, laminated flooring and soft furnishings. You’ll win all of these items, and get to move into our London flat – under normal property guardianship terms. This includes going through our application process, paying our affordable monthly licence fee and being subject to a 28-day notice period. Making a social impact is at the core of what we do, so like our other property guardians, you’ll also need to commit to volunteering for good causes for at least 16 hours a month.

How to enter

Step one: Follow us on Instagram

Step two: On Instagram, tag us in a photo of you volunteering (currently or in the past) and direct message us the story behind it. You can tell us:

  • What you’re doing in the photo
  • Why you volunteered for your chosen organisation
  • What you enjoyed about it
  • Why you want to be a Dot Dot Dot guardian

Step three: Open and submit an application to be a property guardian with us. This starts with an eligibility quiz that only takes a few minutes to complete.

Our panel will judge entries based on creativity and your demonstration of a commitment to making a difference. If you’ve not volunteered before, don’t let that stop you from entering. It’s a chance to get creative!
