We have two 1-bed self-contained flats situated on the leafy Palatine Road in West Didsbury, in an attractive Victorian converted townhouse, just 30 minutes from Manchester city centre. The flats provide a peaceful alternative to the city centre whilst ensuring you still have access to popular eateries, boutique shops and a vibrant community.

The property

Layout: The flats offer double bedrooms, a generous living room, kitchen and bathroom. The first flat has a larger bedroom, and is £495pcm. The second flat has a slightly smaller but still comfortable double bedroom, and has the lower price of £445pcm. 

Outdoor space: West Didsbury along with the surrounding areas of East Didsbury and Didsbury Village boast a number of quiet and peaceful open spaces. The River Mersey also cuts along the underside of West Didsbury, and offers some charming riverside walks. Wrap up and stride out along the riverbank, or get acquainted with Fletcher Moss Park to while away an hour or two.

You can also visit Chorlton Water Park, Didsbury Park, Cavendish Park and Marie Louise Gardens.

Parking/bike storage: You can store your bike inside the property. There is free parking available in the car park at the front of the property.

Within five minutes’ walk, you can reach Burton Road and its range of popular pubs and restaurants including Piccolino for Italian dining; a bar with al fresco seating, Saison; Nepalese restaurant, The Great Kathmandu and The Lime Tree for seasonal, cutting edge British cuisine. 

Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre is within 10-15 minutes of the properties and includes a bowling alley, cinema, pool room, arcade, restaurants and a gym. Also nearby in Didsbury Village, you can access supermarkets including ALDI, Tesco and an M&S Foodhall. The area also provides access to a medical centre, dentist, range of banks, beauty salons and mosque. 

There is no shortage of independent shopping in the area, with top boutiques including the lifestyle store, Moth, for beautiful homeware, jewellery and crockery; The Epicurean for plenty of locally-brewed craft beers and Fusion Deli for a fantastic selection of local and regional produce. Visit Makers Market on the last Sunday of every month to showcase handmade goods. from pies and cakes, to ceramics and other design pieces by local artists.
