The property

Spaces: Rooms in this 4-bed property are bright and airy, and you will share two communal living spaces, three bathrooms, a kitchen and large garden with your fellow housemates. 

Features and facilities: All communal spaces are fully furnished and equipped with cooking facilities including a fridge, freezer, oven and kitchen accessories. The living room is welcoming and cosy, with two sofas, a coffee table, lamps and plants. There are also large windows providing some peaceful views out across the garden. 

Outdoor space: There is a large garden at the back of the property, with plenty of trees, flowers and a storage shed, perfect for enjoying your own slice of green in the city. This outdoor space is perfect for coming together with friends and housemates to enjoy a meal together or a soak in the sun.

Parks and nature reserves

Cambridge has a vast array of outdoor spaces on offer and this leafy location of Mill Road places you close to plenty of green squares and parks. Within a five minute walk you can be at Romsey and Coleridge recreation grounds, or within 20 minutes  you’ll reach Parker’s Piece and the Botanic Gardens, home to over 8000 species of plants from all over the world. More than flora and fauna, the Botanic Gardens also offers access to evening concerts and painting and art classes.

The tranquility of Grantchester Meadows can be reached via a short walk from the city centre or a punt along the River Granta. You can also take some peaceful walks from Grantchester village, or wander down the river banks and bask in the beautiful views of the water meadows. 

The Backs twist through some of the riverside colleges on the River Cam, providing unrivalled views of the university and in spring, are covered in daffodils and crocuses. Top sights are Trinity College, King’s College with it’s chapel originating in the 15th century, and the famous Bridge of Sighs and the Mathematical Bridge. 

Lastly, Jesus Green offers up its open air lido between May and October each year, and is one of the last remaining original lidos in the UK, built in the 1920s. On Sundays during the summer months there’s a concert band, plus, there’s tennis courts available as well as a top BBQ spot amongst acres of green space.

Cambridge airport is also just 30 minutes’ away by bus, from where you can take domestic and international flights.

From Cambridge train station you can be at London King’s Cross in just 50 minutes, Stevenage train station in 45 minutes and Letchworth Garden City in only half an hour.
