The property

Large windows flood the spacious properties in plenty of natural light, and bedrooms allow room for double beds. We house a number of brilliant property guardians in High Wycombe and so our properties have the added advantage of sitting within an existing Dot Dot Dot community.

Outdoor space

High Wycombe is peppered with green squares and parks, including The Rye. Here you can discover plenty of wildlife and even hire rowing boats for a peaceful day on the water. At Wycombe Rye Lido you’ll find a heated outdoor pool and a range of exercise classes to enjoy!

The town is surrounded by The Chilterns which are easily accessible by train in just 20 minutes. Taking the train one stop to Saunderton places you at the heart of the hills from where you can discover walking trails, picturesque historic villages, and country pubs.

The local area

For an evening with your favourite comedian or bestselling author, head to Wycombe Swan Theatre in the town centre. For all things creative in the local community, Wycombe Arts Centre has a vast array of performances to offer, from open mic nights to touring theatre shows – they also hold regular events including their Sunday Jam, film screenings, pottery workshops and an art club.

Oxford City centre is just 45 minutes by train.

Volunteering opportunities

Making a difference to the local and wider community is what we’re all about. Dot Dot Dot guardians volunteer at least 16 hours every month for good causes. High Wycombe Central Aid Furniture supplies second hand furniture and electrical goods to those on low incomes and in need. You could help sort through donations, work in the shop or help keep the website updated. If you’d like to get outside, try Chiltern Rangers, who work with local communities to maintain local woodlands, commons, parks and other green spaces nearby.

When I first joined Dot Dot Dot, I was looking for mentoring opportunities but I started instead working for Wycombe Sound, a local radio station. I ended up doing my own show."

Licence fee review

Dot Dot Dot undertakes a licence fee review every twelve months. Broadly, any increases will be based on the rate of inflation at the time of review, but they will also take into account any specific changes in our costs or in the local market. We also look at changes to council tax rates and utilities. Current guardians will be given at least two month’s notice before their licence fees change and new guardians will not face changes for at least six months.

Please note that photos on this page represent the range of spaces we manage and do not necessarily depict the space you may move into. You will have an opportunity to see the spaces at a later stage at a group viewing.
